 Imam-ul-Haq and Shan Masood came to open the innings but couldn’t give a good start to the team, Imam-ul-Haq gave his wicket to Lyon on 17 (1 four, 1 six) runs of 27 balls. Masood batted well but couldn’t score more than 40 runs (5 fours) in 62 balls and departed by Coulter-Nile. Harish Sohail along with Umar Akmal built a partnership of 98 runs,Coulter-Nile gave the break through to the team by departing Akmal on 48 runs (3 sixes) of 50 balls, Soajib Malik was bowled out by Maxwell on 11 runs (1 four, 1 six) 7 balls. Faheem Ashraf departed by Jhye Richardson on 28 runs (4 fours) of 26 balls. At the end Imad Wasim scored  unbeaten quick 28 runs (4fours, a six) and Harish Sohail scored a magnificent unbeaten 101 runs (6 fours, a six) of 114 balls which helped Pakistan to score 280-5 in 50 overs.

Coulter-Nile picked 2 wickets, Jhye Richardson, Lyon, Maxwell got a wicket each.

 Usman Khawaja and Aron Finch gave a decent start to team scoring a partnership of 63 runs in 11 over, Faheem Ashraf departed Usman on 24 runs (3 fours) of 30 balls. After the first wicket Aron Finch and Shaun Marsh stocked to crease and built a huge partnership of 172 runs where Finch completed his mind blowing century and  scored 116 runs (8 fours, 4 sixes) of 135 balls and departed by Mohammad Abbas. Shaun Marsh along with Handscomb took the team to cross the finishing line where Shaun scored unbeaten 91 runs (4 fours,2 sixes) of 102 balls and Handscomb scored unbeaten 30 runs (2 fours) of 27 balls, in regard of which Australia won the match by 8 wickets.
Mohammad Abbas and Faheem Ashraf picked one wicket each

 Aron Finch got the Player of the match award for his magnificent hundred.
