MI Innings of 7th Match of VIVO IPL Season 12,1st match of RCB vs MI
Quinton de Kock started the innings for MI along with Rohit Sharma and gave a quick start to the team where they scored 54 runs for the first wicket. Chahal gave the break through by departing de Kock on 23 runs (2 fours, 1 six). Rohit looked good but was unfortunately departed on 48 runs (8 fours, 1 six) of 33 balls. Suryakumar played some good shots at one end whereas in the other end Yuvraj Singh showed a great intent and hit back to back 3 sixes to Y Chahal but in the forth bowl was caught by Siraj in the boundary line and departed on 23 runs (3sixes) of 12 balls. Chahal picked the another wicket by departing Suryakumar on 38 runs (4 fours, 1 six) of 24 balls. With Suryakumar’s wicket Bengaluru picked back to back 4 wickets. In the end of the inning Hardik Pandya scored quick 32 runs of 12 balls with 2 fours and 3 sixes which helped Mumbai to set a score of 187-8 in 20 overs.
Chahal was the most successful bowler who picked 4 wickets conceding 38 runs in his 4 overs.

Parthiv Patel along with Moen Ali came to open the innings where they scored 31 runs for the first wicket, Moen Ali was departed by Rohit Sharma by a brilliant run out. Virat came in the middle and hit 3 consecutive fours to Bumrah. Parthiv playing a good innings but was departed by Markande who was playing his first match in VIVO-IPL-Season-12 on 31 runs (4 fours,1 six) of 22 balls. Virat along with Ab de Villiers scored a 59 runs for the 3rd wicket, Bumrah in his 2nd over took the revenge by departing Virat Kohli on 46 runs of 32 balls with 6 fours. Ab de played a brilliant innings after he was dropped by Yuvi on 0. de Villiers played huge shots at one end and at the end wickets continued to fall in the crucial moments. Despite of his unbeaten innings of 70 runs (4 fours, 6 sixes) of 41 balls RCB lose the match by 6 runs in the most thrilling last over.
Jusprit Bumrah picked 3 wickets by conceding on 20 runs in his 4 overs and was awarded as Player of the match for his brilliant performance.
