The opening pair of Delhi Capitals couldn’t gave a good start to the team as Prithvi Shaw departed early by Bhuvneshwar on 11  runs (2fours) of 11 balls and Sikhar Dhawan  struggles with his form as he couldn’t give a solid start to team and once again let down the team by departing on 12 runs (1 fours) of 14 balls. Shreyas Iyer at one end tried to score runs but got no support from the other end as the wickets falling at regular and quick intervals, but after scoring 43 runs (3 fours, 1 six) of 41 balls Shreyas Iyer got out by Rashid Khan in the 17tth over of the match. Chris Morris scored 17 runs of 15 balls and was caught by Nabi in the bowl of Bhuvneshwar. At the end  Axar Patel scored quick unbeaten 23 runs of 13 balls with a four and 2 sixes which helped to se a competitive total of 129-8 in 20 overs.

The bowlers of SRH had done a brilliant job for the team where every bowler got at least one wicket and mostly Bhuvneswar Kumar who picked 2 wickets and got his form back on track.

very first ball of the inning whereas David Warner struggled a bit to score runs in Feroz Shah Kotla. Bairstow was dropped on 5 runs after that he played shots all along the ground and took the match away from Delhi Capitals with a partnership of 64 runs in 6.5 overs where Bairstow scored 48 runs (9 fours, a six) of 28 balls and got out by Rahul Tewatia. In the next over Warner was sent back to pavilion by Rabada on 10 runs of 18 balls. Middle order seemed to be biggest draw back of the team as they failed to take the score ahead of the target and thrown their wicket at regular intervals. At the end Yousuf Pathan along with M Nabi scored and made the team won the match in the 19th over where they scored 131-5 and won the match by 5 wickets.
